The film, already India’s highest-grossing movie of the year, was targeted despite efforts by Maddock Films to hire an anti-piracy agency. The Mumbai Police and South Cyber Cell have launched an investigation and registered a case under multiple laws, including the Indian Penal Code, Copyright Act, and IT Act.
