Brazil launches sports betting and shares list of sports eligible for fixed-odds bets
Brazil has officially legalized sports betting as of January 1, 2025, issuing 68 licenses for operations. This regulatory framework includes sports such as soccer, basketball, boxing, baseball, hockey, cricket, tennis, surfing, skateboarding, diving, sailing, skiing, equestrian events, and various martial arts.
