Eastern Michigan-Central Michigan Men's Hoops Game Triggers Betting Inquest
The January 14, 2025, basketball game between Eastern Michigan and Central Michigan is under investigation for suspicious betting activity. Compliance 360, a sports integrity monitoring company, flagged three significant bets placed on Central Michigan to lead at halftime. Central Michigan indeed led 39–33 at halftime and went on to win 82–63. An earlier Eastern Michigan game on December 21, 2024, was also flagged for similar betting irregularities. Eastern Michigan is cooperating with authorities to investigate these incidents.
