Foreign Pirate Sites Could Be Blocked In US

The Foreign Anti-Digital Piracy Act (FADPA), introduced by Representative Zoe Lofgren, aims to empower U.S. courts to issue blocking orders against foreign websites dedicated to copyright infringement. This legislation seeks to target sites that exist solely to infringe upon intellectual property rights, enhancing the ability to combat online piracy originating outside U.S. jurisdiction.
