Following a complaint by the film’s producer, Muhammed Shareef, Fanan was apprehended in Aluva after an investigation revealed he was selling access to the pirated film through Instagram. Authorities are continuing efforts to identify others involved in the piracy of Marco and emphasize the detrimental impact of such activities on filmmakers and the creative industry.
