Seller of Illegal Streaming Devices sentenced to six months' imprisonment

Wang Yue received a six-month prison sentence for 17 charges, and his company was fined SGD $181,000. This case marks the second prosecution resulting from 2022 raids in Sim Lim Square, where authorities seized over 2,500 ISDs and arrested 17 individuals. The Premier League and the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE) commended Singaporean authorities for their continued efforts against digital piracy.
