NH lawmaker arrested on ‘revenge porn' charge launches fundraising campaign
New Hampshire state lawmaker Bryan Morse has been arrested and charged with distributing revenge porn. According to police, Morse allegedly shared an explicit image of a woman without her consent, leading to the charge of non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images—an offense under New Hampshire law.
The investigation began after the victim reported that Morse had sent the intimate image to at least one other person. Authorities confirmed that the image was sexual in nature and that the victim did not authorize its distribution. Morse was taken into custody and later released on bail.
State legislative leaders responded quickly, stating that the charges are serious and that they are monitoring the situation. Some lawmakers and advocacy groups emphasized the growing issue of image-based sexual abuse and the need for strong legal consequences to protect victims.
The case will proceed through the court system, and Morse is expected to appear in court again as the legal process continues. He has not publicly commented on the arrest.
