Real-Debrid: Popular streaming service implements strong anti-piracy measures
Real-Debrid, a popular streaming and download service, is implementing extensive anti-piracy measures following a formal notice from the French Federation of Film Distributors (FNEF). These measures include blocking audiovisual files from certain cyberlockers listed on U.S. and European piracy watchlists, applying filename filters—which may result in false positives to be manually addressed—and blocking torrent hashes from private trackers involved in legal cases in Paris. Additionally, Real-Debrid plans to purge cached files matching these criteria, deactivate the /instantAvaibility API endpoint, and block counterfeit Kodi and Stremio applications when identifiable.
